I seriously cannot believe we have been in the farmhouse over a year now! Time sure does fly! We absolutely love it here. Of course we are super excited about our new home, but it will be hard to say goodbye to this one. When we moved in we decorated with a bunch of stuff from our old house and it worked great, but it was time for a little refresh. I found so many cute things from the new GAP HOME line that I cannot wait to share with you!
This summer Gap Home launched a home decor line that is exclusive to Walmart. I LOVE The Gap and was so excited to see their home collection. It did not disappoint. So many classic, timeless, comfortable designs just like you would expect from The Gap. The items are full of texture with a soft color palette and affordable prices.
KIDS BATHROOM REFRESH
The first room that needed some love was the kids bathroom. It is a super cute bathroom, but needed a refresh. Avery & Braden are sharing this space so I wanted to keep it fresh and went with a blue & white gender neutral color scheme. Check out the cute details like the vintage door hardware, pedestal sink and bead board trim.
The walls are a super light pale blue so the blue and white towels and accessories went perfectly. Feels very cape cod/coastal which I love.
One of the problems in this bathroom is lack of storage so I added the blue and white ombre toothbrush holder and soap dispenser. I like them having their toothbrush & hand soap easily accessible. The set also came with a soap dish that I put in the shower.
The bathmat and towels are so pretty and comes in several color options. I am always a fan of crisp white towels and I loved the texture on these. I also thought these blue/white striped towels were beautiful and coordinated so great in this space. The quality is amazing and I love that they are reversible. You can see in the stack on the chair I have 2 folded in opposite directions so you can see how the color changes. The set came with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. You can mix and match to get the look you want.
GUEST ROOM REFRESH
Next space in the farmhouse refresh was the guest room. When we moved in we were in the midst of Covid so we really weren’t having any guests. This room was kind of a hodge podge and needed a little help. Again I went with the blue and white color scheme. It is classic and clean feeling.
We LOVE this bed. We bought it for Braden’s bedroom when we changed this room from a nursery to big boy room and loved it so much we got another one for the guest room. The main thing we needed was some new bedding and pillows. I saw this quilted bedding option and it was perfect. The frayed edge detail and quilting caught my eye and at less than $55 I was sold!
The new Gap Home line has so many beautiful pillows that it was really hard to choose. I got the coordinating shams and this cute lumbar pillow full of texture (I already owned the ruffle shams, but you can find similar here).
I also loved all these fun pillows. . . blue contrast stitch, light grey frayed edge, striped lumbar pillow, and frayed denim pillow. They helped add more texture and pattern to the room. Gap Home did a great job of creating pieces that mix and match wonderfully so you can create whatever look you want.
Last, but not least I could not resist these cute patterned plates and bowls. They come in a set of 4 and each one has a different pattern. They look really cute stacked in a cabinet or on a shelf!
I am so excited with the way everything turned out. Just a few simple touches really transformed these rooms and I did it on a major budget! Have you checked out the new Gap Home line yet? What are your favorite pieces. I have my eye on this pillow, but it sold out super fast! As soon as it is back it is mine!

Love this room.
Can you tell me what color and brand the pale blue wall paint is?
Thanks in advance.

I am so sorry but I am not sure. It was painted that color before we moved in
