I don’t know about yall, but this season, more than ever, we are spending a ton of time at home. 2020 has been a crazy year and with the state of things right now we are going out less, and staying in more. This holiday season I wanted our home be a cozy holiday space that we could really enjoy. Twinkle lights, Christmas music, yummy holiday scents, cozy blankets. . .the more the merrier!
We always do a ton of activities during the holidays and I love the holiday hustle and bustle, but I am enjoying this new slower pace. We have traded holiday parties for family game nights and Christmas movies and I am not mad about it. It was my first year to decorate the farmhouse for the holidays so I needed some new things. I headed to Walmart and they had everything I needed to create a cozy holiday home. It makes my heart so happy to look around and see a beautiful, holiday space!
I am always blown away by Walmart’s assortment. So many beautiful, throw pillows, blankets and Christmas decor at reasonable prices. The quality is great, they have a huge range of styles from classic to trendy and its so convenient. I am so excited with everything I found. I also got a bunch of great gifts!
There were so many great pillows I really had a hard time narrowing it down. I got this assortment for my hearth room. I wanted lots of texture and pattern that I could use all winter long. Velvet, plaid, faux leather, knotted stripes and buffalo check with embroidery did the trick!
I also got this assortment for my family room. I loved the faux fur and reversible red stripe fringed pillows.
After switching up the pillows, I added my favorite faux fur blanket, a cute frosted faux tree, my favorite gold picture frame, the yummiest cinnamon candle and this cute tree farm sign (bought in store) to complete the look. So happy with how everything turned out.

- FROSTED TREE: I bought this tree in store and it is so pretty. Love the holiday feel it adds.
- YARN TREE: Another pretty tree to add holiday cheer to your home.
- TRAY: I have shared this before. I LOVE it. Perfect gift. Makes an amazing charcuterie board. So many uses for this great wood tray with gold handles.
- FAUX FUR BLANKET: This is my favorite! If you don’t have one you need it. Perfect gift idea too! 3 color options, but I love the white!
- CINNAMON CANDLE: Great holiday scent
- BEST GOLD FRAMES: I love these frames. Beautiful, great price and come in 2 sizes.
- SOFA: Beautiful sofa
- BEAUTIFUL RUG: I have this rug and love it. I have the Ivory in my Hearth room and the Grey in Braden’s room
- COFFEE TABLE: This is very similar to the table I have. I love the wood top and the casters. Perfect blend of multiple styles.
- UNO ATTACK: This is one of our favorite family games. Both kids and adults love it. Fast paced and great for kids working on the numbers and colors.
- SEQUENCE: Our other favorite game. We play this adults only and as a family. Hours of fun!
- CAKE TRAY: Such a pretty cake tray. Also makes a perfect gift.
