My favorite time of year is here. The weather, the scents, the food, the activities. . .and FOOTBALL. Ok, lets be honest, I am not a huge football fan, however I love any reason to get together with friends and football season is a great reason to gather. Whether you are tailgating or having friends over to watch the game I am sharing everything you need for GAME DAY plus the best creamy sausage and corn dip recipe ever!!

GAME DAY ESSENTIALS

Walmart is my go to for ALL.THE.THINGS! Not only do they have the best assortment of everything you need, but you cannot beat the prices. They have an entire page dedicated to GAME TIME so they can help you with all your needs. From electronics, food, games, gear, party essentials, furniture, cooking equipment. . .you name it. . .they have it. Here are my top picks for what you need for game day!

COOKING ESSENTIALS:

2 BURNER OUTDOOR STOVE: Perfect for cooking delicious food at your tailgate. Large cooktop with 2 burners so you can cook lots of food for your party. Removable/adjustable legs make transporting very easy. Great reviews!
1.5 QUART SLOW COOKER: I have this slow cooker and it is amazing. It is the perfect size for dips! I use it all the time. I am sharing my favorite recipe to make in this slow cooker below. CREAMY SAUSAGE & CORN DIP RECIPE

Yall, this recipe is a crowd pleaser! I make it for all my parties and it is always completely gone. In fact, I get requests for it when I am coming to a party. It is so easy and so good. This is a must for any game day party.

INGREDIENTS:

2 blocks cream cheese

1 can Rotel

1 tube Jimmy Dean Sausage

1 cup thawed corn

DIRECTIONS:

Brown sausage in pan. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker, stir periodically. Once melted serve with tortilla chips.

OZARK COOLER

This cooler is a game changer. There are sooo many different options, but yall, it keeps things cold forever! It is almost exactly the same as another very expensive brand I am not going to mention. It works just as well and is a fraction of the price. This is a must when you need beverages cold and perfect for your game day tail gate!!
