Housekeeping: Week in Review

Hi friends-

Another short week around here.  Our kids had a half day Thursday and no school Friday.  While I do love a good long weekend, I feel like our kids are never in school.  I need all my days to get all.the.things done! Oh well.  This week was busy with tons of workers at our home.  We are still finishing up our punch list.  Very ready to be done with all of that.  If you follow me on Instagram stories you have also seen I have been working on some patio refresh.  Will be sharing more of that soon.

RANDOM WEEKLY RECAP:

  • We hosted a Super Bowl party.  I was there for the people, snacks, commercial and halftime show.  You can see our “CONCESSION STAND” I made in the kitchen HERE.
  • I found this amazing piece at BIG LOTS of all places for my patio and then had yall help me decide on which art to go above it.  It was between THIS and THIS art piece.  More coming on this area soon!
  • We are obsessed with SUITS over here.  I know it is an older show, but it is new to us and been filling up our evenings!   Also very excited Summer House and Vanderpump Rules are back on.  They are total trash TV, but in the best way!
  • Super in love with this pitcher I found at TARGET!  It really feels like old Ironstone!  I used it to decorate one of my shelves and it is perfect!  Also loving these new gingham decor finds
  • Did all the Valentine’s Day things.  Date with Geoff, Valentine’s Day parties at school, Avery did a cute Galentine’s gift exchange with friends and we got the kids a little something.  Snagged this super cool misting water bottle for Braden and this LULULEMON dupe sweatshirt for Avery.  Both were a huge hit!

  • #4 OUR CAFE CHAIRS: I have these and love them.  They are comfortable, perfect for outdoors and a great price
  • #3 OUR OUTDOOR SOFA: This is the best outdoor sofa.  Looks like RH at a fraction of the price and can add pieces to make it longer, make it a sectional, etc.
  • #2 OUR BARSTOOLS: These are the best barstools.  So happy with my decision and they are on sale right now
  • #1 PRESERVED BOXWOOD BALLS: These are a must!  They are real, look amazing and zero maintenance.  I have them and my previous ones lasted 8 years!!

WEEKLY INSPO:

I have been busy working on my gallery wall in our game room and these 2 inspo pictures give me all the feels!  I just absolutely love the way they work!  These 2 are done to perfection!

I have been busy working on our outdoor spaces the last couple of weeks.  Warm weather is coming and I know we are going to spend a ton of time out there.  I fell in love with these ceramic garden stools and bought 2 for our back patio.  They are a great price!  See the rest of our back patio sources HERE.

This picture is dreamy!  I love the rich tones!  The chairs are absolute perfection and I need a drop leaf table like this in my life!  The curtains, the vintage rug, the pleated lampshade. . . just perfect!
