Last week we went with my family (Mom, stepdad, step-brother/step-sister and their families) to Jamaica. It was such a fun family vacation and Braden’s first flight and trip to the beach.
We stayed at the Jewel Runaway Bay Resort for 7 days. It was a great resort for families because it had an amazing water park. We spend most of our days eating, building sand castles, swimming, feeding fish, in the lazy river, the kid part of the water park, eating, napping and watching shows….paradise!
Here is our group one night before dinner….but usually you saw us like this… lots of sandcastle and burying the kids in sand going on.…or at the amazing water park. I didn’t get a good photo so this is one from the resort website. The weather and the water were absolutely perfect temperature. We went on a glass bottom boat ride one day and the captain told us that there are no sharks in Jamaica because the water is too warm. I don’t know if that is actually true, but if so…it is my new favorite beach!!
At night before we met up with the rest of the group we loved to go down to the beach and watch the waves. It made for some great pictures! Now the only trouble is deciding which ones to make canvases of! Another great family vacation in the books. We made tons of memories and I love experiencing “firsts” with my kiddos.
Where do yall like to go for family vacations?
