I love our new house, BUT the ceilings are so much taller than our last house so everything we owned looks so tiny now. I have been in the process of updating this over the last 2 years! I went to am amazing vintage sale last week and got a steal of a deal on some art! I am super picky when it comes to art, but I love beautiful frames and these were perfect! They are distressed black with tiny gold beads around the border and the mattes are stunning! Custom matting is so important!
Originally they retailed for $348 each!!!! INSANE….but I was able to get both art prints for $49 at the sale!!! That works for me 🙂
So….although I love the frames and the dog prints were cute…they are not my style. Time to change them out. I had bought an antique French wedding document at an antique store a long time ago and had no idea what I was going to do with it at the time, but this was the perfect thing!

So I removed the dog prints and added this document. I tore it in half and framed each side. I love the official stamp on it.
The scale of these frames is much better for the size of our room and ceilings.
