Things are moving along at the house. There are so many different workers in the house right now bringing everything together. You have already seen sneaks of the primary bath, but here is the entire primary bath design board.
I wanted our bathroom to feel like a spa. Very calming and traditional with lots of marble and touches of blue. I found a tile from The Tile Shop that I absolutely fell in love with. It is Carrara marble with a blue pattern in it. You don’t see it used very often, but it is still very classic. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t something I would get tired of. The floor is really the statement in the room. Everything else ties in.
After finding the amazing flooring, the next thing I fell in love with was our tub and tub faucet. I found this tub at Vintage Tub & Bath and it was exactly what I wanted. I love the clean timeless lines and shape of it. I had seen similar tubs listed other places, but Vintage Tub & Bath had the best prices and has incredible customer service. Their website offers everything you could ever need for your bathroom and kitchen! I also got this amazing shower faucet for our guest room that I will share more of in a different post.
Picking beautiful tubs, tile and fixtures is so important, because there really aren’t many things that go into a bathroom so each element really stands out. We decided to mix metals. Our faucets are all chrome and our lighting/knobs will be antique brass.
TILE | TUB | CHAIR: looking for an antique I will have re-upholstered and monogrammed | TUB FAUCET | SUBWAY TILE | CAFE CURTAINS | MARBLE HEX FLOOR | SCONCE | SINK FAUCET
I am hoping to be able to give the reveal of this room very soon. The tile and faucets are in. The tub is in place, but still waiting on final plumbing and touch up work. Stay tuned . . .
Thank you to Vintage Tub & Bath for partnering with me on our bathroom design. I absolutely love your products and am so excited to have them in our new home.
