It feels so good to finally get some rooms in our home completed. Most of them are 95% there, but still waiting on final details like upholstery, art, drapes, etc. One room that is finished is our primary bathroom. Picking a favorite room is like picking a favorite child, but I will say, this bathroom is one of my favorites. I have shared some of these details before, but now that everything is fully put together I am putting it all in 1 spot. Welcome to our primary bathroom.
When designing this room I wanted it to feel cozy. I didn’t want a crazy large bathroom that felt overly airy. We did 10 ft ceilings and made use of all the space. I love our big window with natural light and the cafe curtains give us the privacy we need while still being able to see the gorgeous trees outside.
I wanted the room to feel like a bathroom you would see in a cute southern boutique hotel. Whites, blues, brass, marble, monograms . . . classic, timeless and clean!
The tile flooring really helps pull everything together. It is the statement piece and everything else compliments it. I wanted a lot of storage so we could keep everything off our counters, but still have the convenience of having everything close.
This was a clear glass cabinet, but I added fabric to add more color/pattern and make it feel more vintage/southern.
I also added monograms for that southern charm. I added them to our hand towels and also this custom made chair. It was a Facebook Marketplace find that I had re-upholstered.
We love our huge bathtub and was waiting for this Anthropologie mirror to go on sale so I could snag it and add it to this wall. It really completed the space!
Our shower is a walk through behind the tub wall. We have hooks on either side for our towels/robe.
We are so happy with how this room turned out. It is fun when you see your vision become a reality. I have linked all the sources below, but let me know if you have any questions.
