The weather has finally started cooling off in Texas. I mean, we kind of went from summer, to 5 days of fall, to winter very quickly. Cooler temperatures get me so excited about the holidays and getting my home all cozy and festive. I am loving all the faux fur options out there right now and kinda went with a more rustic luxe feel to my decor this year. . .lots of texture and lots of holiday cheer. I know tomorrow is Halloween, however, I like to get my decor up early and share with y’all so you can find some things you love for your own home. When I started thinking about my holiday decor this year I knew I wanted to incorporate lots of cozy materials. I went online and found this amazing faux fur pillow and blanket and then added the rest of my decor from there. I am telling you. . .this blanket might just be one of my favorite Walmart purchases ever. It is so soft and so pretty. Sometimes faux fur can look cheap, but not this one! This will be a top item on my gift list this year.
As you know Walmart is one of my go-to places for home decor. They have such an amazing assortment for every style at unbeatable prices. I am always blown away by the incredible things I find. The hardest part is narrowing down what I want to buy. Also, most orders have FREE 2 day shipping (when you spend $35+) and free returns.
Walmart makes shopping so easy with their Shop by Style sections. Comfort & Joy and Cozy Christmas really spoke to me. There were so many great items to complete my holiday decor. I also love shopping at Walmart stores, because while I am there picking up my groceries for the week, I also find the cutest things in their other sections.
I also found this sweater pillow and had to have it. It comes in several colors, but I went with the black and white. I also thought this enamel Merry Christmas tray was so cute. Perfect for serving food at holiday parties, decorating or using for Santa’s milk and cookies!
I love Christmas trees and found this great 4′ flocked one at Walmart a few years ago. They have a similar one here. They also have an amazing assortment of decorative accent trees this year. I got a bark one, a green sparkly one and a flocked one all under $20.
Another item I really think Walmart knocked out of the park this year was their holiday signs! There were so many amazing options! I purchased 3, but there were so many more I loved.
Yall, this cement Christmas sign is a must. So so pretty and ONLY $7.98!
The 2 other signs I purchased are here in my bookshelves. The farmhouse Tidings of Comfort and Joy sign for $12.98 and the Be Merry sign. I also found some beautiful silver bottle brush trees, this galvanized North Pole Post mailbox and a mercury silver stag head candle holder when I was shopping in the store.
I have to tell you about this wreath! It is such an amazing find (ONLY $9.98) and then I paired it with this amazing wax paper banner I found in the Walmart store for ONLY $1.48. They come in 3 colors, red, kraft paper and grey with 3 different sayings (Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Jingle all the Way…see below). Add them to any wreath, tree, set them on a shelf, etc. The possibilities are endless. So cute right?! I just bend the branches around to have them hold the sign in place. Super simple! For less than $12 you get a cute, customized wreath that would be triple the price somewhere else.
Along with these cool paper banners I also found these cute wooden tags in the store for $1.99. Add them to a gift, hang them on your tree, a wreath, or anywhere else in your home that needs a little holiday. They had a bunch of different sayings with different fonts and colors. I just love them!
I am so excited about this upcoming holiday season and I cannot wait to cuddle up with my family and have people over to enjoy the season. Hope you found some budget friendly decor you loved for your own home!
