I guess we have to face the music ladies… it’s officially time to get shorts! The good news is that I have put together a short list of my favorites! Get it… ha ha! Lets start with these adorable chino shorts!
I was excited about the OLIVE GREEN color and also the WHITE pair because they have the cutest embellishments! They come in tons of colors and I like that you can roll them down, cuff them once or cuff them twice!
This black VELVET V-NECK TEE is on sale and I really like it! I’m wearing the cute white shorts with these new TORY BURCH SANDALS! If they don’t have your size, you can also find them HERE. I would suggest sizing down half a size, these ran a little big.
Here are the green chino shorts with the cutest EMBROIDERED TOP!!! I love both color options for this top, so be sure to check it out to see the darker one.
Have you seen the new MILLER ESPADRILLE sandals? I shared them last week and mine arrived this week! They are too cute!!! The footbed is really soft and they aren’t scratchy at all! They also come in silver!

I’m wearing the burgundy VELVET V-NECK TEE (same as the black one above) and it’s on sale! It’s a really cute basic top! Remember the JUTE LEATHER SANDALS I shared last week, well I’m wearing them in these pictures so you can see how cute they look on! The color is basically a really soft gold. They are actually really comfortable too, the footbed has some good cushioning!
Quick sale alert for you guys! This twist hem SWEATSHIRT is on sale and it also comes in grey! You can’t beat the price and it’s really lightweight so you can wear it into Spring! I’m wearing it with my favorite JEANS, these are the ones I reach for over and over! I do size down in these. =)
Before we move on, I have to interrupt and discuss the most amazing NEW candles! Those of you who already know about VOLCANO CANDLES are going to be as excited as I was to discover these new scents that the same company released! You can see how beautiful the new jars are too! The lids are now made out of glass too. They are so pretty, light and fresh for Spring! My favorite is called Lagoon, but Coastal was a really close runner-up! You can get them in MINI or the REGULAR size. My local store said they are selling like crazy! Lagoon smells like the best flower scent. At first I thought it was Magnolia or Gardenia, but it’s freesia! Coastal has pineapple, coconut, etc. and it is so good too! You can’t go wrong! These make the best gift and since there are new scents and containers, you can feel pretty confident that they won’t already have it! 😉
Ok, back to jeans… I have been wanting to try MADEWELL jeans for a while so I shopped for all of the best-sellers and I am here to give you a bit of a review. They are priced on the low end for designer, high quality denim. There are definitely less expensive jeans, but these really are special and worth the investment. Most of their styles have Magic Pockets, and they really are magic! They basically have an extra layer of fabric that holds everything in! I love them! All of the jeans I tried are high waisted too, so if you don’t have a good pair of them, I would for sure look into these! First up are these DROP HEM JEANS that have a button fly! Next up are these bestselling HIGH-WAISTED SKINNY JEANS! I think these might be my pick for a good basic pair of classic denim that will last you for years! If they don’t have your size, you can also find them HERE. They might be on backorder, but if you want to try them, I would go ahead and order them and then you can always take them back if you don’t love them.
They also have these awesome SKINNY JEANS that are made with Tencel, so they are really soft and just the right amount of stretch! I really like these too!
I also wanted to compare two pair of white jeans for you guys! I’ll show you the pair by Madewell first. These are really an amazing pair of basic WHITE JEANS. No distressing, ankle length, and they have the Magic Pockets! They are thick enough that you can’t see through them and they hold everything in! They might be the perfect pair of white jeans! I wanted to show you what these SANDALS look like with white jeans too, I love them so much!
These WHITE JEANS are not by Madewell, but they are really affordable and really cute with the frayed hems and distressing! These get my vote for a fun pair of white jeans! Just in case you wanted to look at the MILLER ESPADRILLES some more, I am wearing them in most of the denim pictures! 😉
