It is an exciting day around our house. Elfie has arrived! My kids look forward to this every year. This year will be a little different because Avery has learned the truth about Santa, The Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and Elfie. She figured it out last year and honestly I took it harder than she did. She is excited this year to be part of the fun and help hide Elfie for Braden. I am excited to have her help. We just love the holidays and all the fun that comes with them. We do lots of Elf on the Shelf activities and last year I did an entire post recapping our Elf on the Shelf traditions. We still do the same traditions so I am re-sharing today for those of you who missed out on the post last year. There are tons of ideas to have fun all month long!
ELF ON THE SHELF TRADITIONS
Also here are a few more ideas on what we did with our elf last year. Follow me on Instagram stories all month long for ideas and to see what our elf is up to!
Elfie wanted to be part of our family Christmas card!!
So 2 years ago I lost our original elf and had to buy a new one, then I found our original elf and so now a few times a season Elfie’s “friend” shows up with him and they get into mischief!
A little sledding fun with a reindeer!
I know that Elf on the Shelf is just one more thing to your super busy holiday list, but seeing the joy on the kids faces makes it totally worth it. This age will not last long so I want to soak up the magic as long as possible!!
