Beautiful Christmas Porches

November 28, 2016 By houseofhargrove@gmail.com

It is FINALLY time to decorate for Christmas! Have you gotten your tree up yet? The front porch decorations out? I love being able to decorate right after Thanksgiving so that I can have a full month to enjoy the festive decorations for Christmas. For me, it brings spirit and a lot of joy to the house, especially seeing the kids reactions to everything that we do. And it all leads up to the big event- Christmas. It brings excitement and helps us look forward to the real reason of the season. I love having my guests come up to the front door in awe with some fun decor on the front porch. It does not have to be elegant or overdone, a simple Christmas wreath would do if that is all you have. Get inspired with these Christmas Porches!

I love the simplicity of this porch.  The olive bucket, wooden plant boxes and lanterns are farmhouse perfection.

This screened in porch is so adorable.  I love the crate, tricycle and mason jars.  A sweet little retro, country Christmas feel.

Pottery Barn inspires a lot of people during the holidays and it is fairly easy to make your own knock offs- like this triple wreath and ornament lighted garland wrapped around the posts.  Between Naps on the Porch, Christmas Porches via House of HargroveBetween Naps on the Porch

I love all the festive pops of red everywhere on this front porch!  And the lights on the mini trees in the olive buckets guide the way to the front door. On Sutton Place, Christmas Porches via House of HargroveOn Sutton Place

A vintage sled and skates with a wintery scarf and boots helps set the scene and the table top tree with the wrapped presents round it off perfectly.Postcards from the Ridge, Christmas Porches via House of HargrovePostcards from the Ridge

The wood stumps lend a rustic feel and allows some décor to lean against it. I love the old bell wreath on the chair and the evergreen hanging on the front door. Thoughts from Alice, Christmas Porches via House of HargroveThoughts from Alice

The front door is beautifully framed with a Magnolia garland and a gorgeous burlap wreath hangs.  On the back porch, wreaths hang on the door and on the vintage sled. A red wagon is just perfect for this space, along with the small tree in the crate.Unskinny Boppy, Christmas Porches via House of HargroveUnskinny Boppy
