He’s BAAAACCCKKKKKK!! Our Elf, “Elfie”, arrived from the North Pole this morning and Avery couldn’t have been more excited!!! Braden has no idea what is going on, but he sure did try to eat Elfie. Had to explain to Avery that babies are allowed to touch the elves and they still keep their magic powers. PHEW!
Elfie always arrives on December 1 in our family. The night before we cuddle on the couch, have hot cocoa and watch The Elf on the Shelf movie. I just love traditions!
Avery must have asked me 100 times when Elfie was coming. She LOVES having the elf around. I am not going to lie…sometimes doing Elf on the Shelf is a pain, BUT seeing the joy in her heart when she finds him in the morning makes it all worth it!
Elfie always arrives with a fun breakfast. It is a huge hit and it is very simple to put together…win/win!
ELF Breakfast:
Elf Balloon: Albertsons
Scrapbook Paper Placemats: Hobby Lobby
Elf on the Shelf Book: already had
Gifts with Christmas PJs: Elf giftbag from Target
Santa Cup: Target
Elf Plate: Pottery Barn Kids
Santa: we already had this. Got it at Walmart a few years ago.
Here are some other super cute items to make your Elf on the Shelf breakfast so much fun!!

Last year here are some things our Elfie was up to…
Here is what Elfie is up to this morning….
I don’t have every day planned out for Elfie. Some of it I come up with at midnight the night before, BUT I do know how he will leave us. Every year he and Santa throw a Birthday Party for Jesus on Christmas Eve.
Now going forward Avery (and Braden) will have a fun puzzle to put together. I just bought this today and am in love. It is a personalized Elf puzzle for ONLY $12.99
Avery loves puzzles and I thought this would be a really fun thing for her to do. It comes in a few different options.
This is the one I bought. Every year I have the first day and the last day planned….now for the other 22 days….stay tuned!
