I don’t know about you, but we seem to do a lot more entertaining in the Fall. Football games, holiday parties….just seems like more reasons to get together. One room we spend a lot of time in when we entertain is the bar. It is attached to our game room and just like the kitchen is the heart of the home…the bar is the heart of the game room. It seems to be where people flock. This is an area where decorating can be overlooked, but there are so many cute items out there to make your bar functional and beautiful.
One of my favorite things in my bar are these adorable pallet wine racks. They can be hung on the wall or just rest on the counter. They add a rustic, farmhouse feel to your bar immediately. They also add extra storage if you have a smaller space. I am a huge fan of wine and World Market has an amazing selection of affordable global wines. It is one of my favorite places to grab a bottle when going to a dinner party. They have lots of unique options and cute gift bags.
Another item I love in my bar is this wood trough ice bucket. Its perfect for keeping your beer/water/soda chilled. When you aren’t using it for ice its a beautiful piece you can store things in. I love multi functional items! By the way if you are ever looking for a gift for a man in your life World Market sells an incredible selection of beer and you can get a container and mix and match a bunch of different kinds to try. What guy (or girl) wouldn’t love that??!! It is also a great way to try new kinds.
These zinc frames add height and the finish has a really cool vintage meets industrial feel! When I saw the ampersand in the store I had to have it. I love how it combines cement and rustic wood. The perfect combo of my style. A little industrial & a little farmhouse & a little vintage. My style summed up in one little ampersand 🙂
There are 2 items in my bar that I share all the time because they are some of my favorites. My Edison Bulb Lamp and my hardware bin lazy susan. Here I used the bin to store some bar snacks that I picked up at World Market. They have a huge selection of amazing food perfect for any occasion. Their pub mix and organic popcorn is a huge hit at our home (if you follow me on Instagram stories you saw my husband and kids raiding this food after I finished taking photos). For your next event you should definitely check out their food and beverage selection.
This Mason Jar Cocktail book is adorable and has great recipes! I mean what good is a well decorated bar without great drinks?! There are tons of yummy ideas in here. I love a good margarita and served in a mason jar….yes please!
