Farmhouse Console Table

My style has changed over the last few years and I am changing some of my more traditional pieces to farmhouse pieces.  I love the casual, comfortable feel of a farmhouse.

Here is a view of my family room from the balcony in our game room.  The table behind this sofa (next to the lamp) is the one I changed out.  This picture was taken before we got our awesome rug (which is on sale right now HERE).

while I do love this piece I wanted something lighter and longer.  We bought a much larger sofa once we moved into our new home so this one looked too small.

I fell in love with the Everett Foyer Table from World Market.  I couldn’t get over the great price and amazing quality.  Its usually $299, but right now it is on sale for $259.99.

It was super easy to put together and it is the perfect size.  This table would look great in so many places!  Entryway, buffet, sofa table, long hallway, etc.

While I love it just the way it is I still love to put my own signature touch on most pieces.  I decided to add label pulls to the drawers for some extra character.  Best part…these awesome label pulls are ONLY $0.60!!!  It is one of my biggest shopping secrets!  I used these all the time.  The quality is great and you CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE!!!

I used screws and colored them black with sharpie!  You really cannot tell.  I also added some white paper which I want to add writing to, but haven’t done it yet.

Such simple detail and ONLY $1.20, but I love the extra character it adds to the table.

 I didn’t notice until I posted this picture that Braden (11 months) did some decorating of his own by playing with the books and hiding his paci in there…can you find it? 🙂
