FARM to Office

I spend a lot of time in my office so having it look pretty and be functional is super important to me.  When looking for a new desk I knew World Market was the perfect place to check out.  I always find great items there that are beautiful, functional and affordable! After finding the perfect desk it was time to accessorize.  Again, there are so many awesome options at World Market.  The first thing I found was this gold and white globe.  I love that it is not the traditional globe colors!  I like using “different” things to decorate with.  For example, this milk bottle vase was great for pencil storage.  When I shop for a room I look through the entire store; not just the office section.  This vase was in floral, but the gold accents went great with the globe and my pencils (pens, scissors, whatever you need) are super handy.  The metal flip calendar is my favorite!  It has a vintage feel and is very functional so you always know the date.  That Edison Lamp is one of my go-to’s and I wanted to add a little height so I set it on one of the medium galvanized cake stands.

The ribbed metal tray stores all the random papers that seem to accumulate on my desk (anyone else??) and the magnifying glass serves as a cute paper weight.  Lastly, since you can never have too many pens or pencils handy a cute cup to store them in.

The hardware bin lazy susan is one of my other favorite World Market items.  I have seriously used this thing all over my house.  It is good anywhere!  It make storage look so cute!   It spins around so it is easy access to everything I need and it looks pretty!
