Hi friends.  As we all try our best to adjust to our new normal and stay home, I thought it would be a great time to share some of my favorite TV shows (these are across all networks).  We LOVE shows over here, especially when we can binge watch them.  Hopefully yall will find some new shows to add to your list to watch.   I also love learning from yall, so if you have some on your list please leave them in the comments below.  We can all use this page as a resource when we are looking for entertainment.  Thanks!

FAVORITE TV SHOWS

OK, we have watched a lot of shows over here.  At night, once the kids are in bed, Geoff and I love to cuddle up and watch a great show.  I have now learned what “Netflix and Chill” means (I have been using that term way wrong), so. . . I am not referring to that.  We actually LOVE getting hooked on a great show.  My husband also loved all of these picks.  We are not huge sitcom/comedy people.  We love mystery, true crime and drama.

It is too hard to rank these in order of my favorites because they are very different, but these are my top series of all time.

OTHER SHOWS WE ENJOYED

These are other series we watched and very much enjoyed.  Geoff and I have similar taste for the most part unless it comes to sci-fi.  I don’t love future robot type of shows.  So here is a list of shows we both enjoyed in no particular order

• MINDHUNTER
• MORNING SHOW
• YOU (Didn’t love Season 2 as much)
• TRUE DETECTIVE- Dark, but had me engaged
• THE KILLINGS- I only watched season 1 & 2
• OZARK
• DEAD TO ME
• THE OUTSIDER: This was good at first and kinda lost my attention toward the end
• THE SINNER: Only watched season 1
• MARVELOUS MRS. MAIZEL: Loved season 1 & 2, kinda lost me season 3
• HOMELAND: Enjoyed this for the most part, but ready for it to end
• 24:  This used to be in my TOP picks.  When this came out I was obsessed!  It was ahead of its time.  When they did the reboot a few years ago I didn’t enjoy it.
• NEWLYWEDS: OBSESSED!!  I watched this when it came out (I was in college) and I just watched again after reading Jessica Simpson’s book
• THE AMERICANS: Geoff and I really enjoyed this season
• DEXTER: We loved this series
• AARON HERNANDEZ STORY
• THE PHARMACIST
• MCMILLIONS
• 13 REASONS WHY
• SEX AND THE CITY
• BIG LITTLE LIES
• SHARP OBJECTS: I enjoyed this, but it was dark.  Was kinda glad when it was over

• REAL HOUSEWIVES (OC, BH, DALLAS…SOMETIMES ATLANTA)

• SOUTHERN CHARM

• SUMMER HOUSE
• THIS IS US: We loved this show, but gave it up, because it was so intense.  I cried every episode and was just drained.  I still recommend it even though I didn’t stick with it.

DIDN’T LIKE:

Like, I mentioned, Geoff and I have similar taste unless it comes to Sci-Fi.  He LOVES Westworld, I did not.  We watched LOST together and honestly I want part of my life back after watching that :).  The shows below I didn’t like, he did like some of them.

• LOST
• TRUE BLOOD (I watched the first 2 season, and just couldn’t anymore)
• BETTER CALL SAUL
• GAME OF THRONES: I know, I know.  Everyone loved this, I just didn’t.  I watched the first and last season
• HOUSE OF CARDS: I liked this the first season, but then didn’t love it
• HANDMAIDS TALE: This show bothered me so much.  I watched 4 episodes and it really got to me.
