We host Thanksgiving so we still have pumpkins up over here! Love decorating for Christmas, but going to have to wait a little longer!

Best road trip advice...just pull over!

We had a lot of time in the car on our trip to New England with lots of famous outlook sites and stops planned. Don't get me wrong...they were all amazing, but some of the prettiest areas we saw were just random parts off the road. We would see something from the window and just pull over to soak it in.
The trees are gorgeous everywhere, there is so much water, beautiful churches, cute little country stores, old cemeteries, barns, bridges...you name it!
This particular spot was somewhere in New Hampshire that we just saw and pulled over and it turned out to be one of our favorite photos! There was no one else there. It looks like a postcard and there are spots like this everywhere. Some of my favorite times on the trip were just driving in the car and soaking it all in! 🧡💛❤️🍂🍁

Woodstock, Vermont was on of my favorite stops! It was the cutest little town full of charm! Straight out of a Hallmark movie.
The Main Street is lined with cute shops, restaurants, gorgeous homes, cute fences and just off to the side a river and beautiful covered bridge.
I could definitely live in this town.

🐈‍⬛ 🎃HOCUS POCUS FILM LOCATIONS 🎃🐈‍⬛

Our family loves Hocus Pocus! We watch it every year & we're so excited to go see the film locations while visiting Salem.

Salem is super popular this time of year, but we went on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. I heard the weekends are insane!!!

I will be doing a separate Salem guide soon, but this one is specific to Hocus Pocus movie locations!

This home is gorgeous and just at the end of the Main Street in Salem. They also have gorgeous gardens in the back that you don't see in the movie

📍Old Town Hall

This is in the heart of Salem downtown. This is the scene where Bet Middler sings "I Put a Spell on You" at the adult Halloween Party

📍Max & Dani's house

This is a short drive but close to Pioneer Village. It's a private residence. It's absolutely gorgeous and right on the water! We parked at Pioneer Village and walked over.

Many outdoor scenes were filmed here including when Max gives Allison his #. Beautiful park with gorgeous homes around including the next filming location...the school

There are several Hocus Pocus tours you can pay to go on, but it was very easy to do our own self guided tour.

We all had a blast doing this! And of course it was fun to see some Sanderson Sisters exploring Salem while we were there! Never know what you'll find!

📍Stowe, Vermont

We visited Stowe in Mid October. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the leaves didn't disappoint. We were there during the week so it wasn't overly crowded.
It had a small town, relaxed feel, but was bigger than some of the other places we visited. In the winter it's a big ski town & it definitely had that vibe.

We went with kids and it was a great family spot. We focused on kid friendly activities and restaurants.

EXPLORE DOWNTOWN:
⛪️ See the beautiful Stowe Community Church
🛍️ Explore the cute shops (Country Store on Main & Farm Home Marketplace were some of my favorites)
🥞 Breakfast at The Butlers Pantry...pro tip...it's a very popular quaint restaurant in the heart of downtown with long waits BUT you can join the Yelp waitlist online before you go. We were able to walk right in

•Smugglers Notch Drive
•Gondola Sky Ride
•Drive on mountain road (just outside of downtown) for lots of great picture spots. This video is taken from a lookout about 2 min out of downtown.

🌽 Percy Farm corn maze was a hit with the kids
•Brookdale Bridge is close by and beautiful
🎶 Von Trapp Lodge & Brewery are worth seeing. Beautiful views & you can get a day pass to enjoy the incredible property
