I really like the combo of Farmhouse and Industrial and lately I have been seeing lots of kitchens that combine these 2 styles that I would describe as Modern Farmhouse Kitchens. They have the farmhouse charm…subway tile, ship lap, X details, etc…but they have new elements that have a modern/industrial flair such as darker colors, unique lighting, different color hardware, etc. Sit back and enjoy these stunning modern farmhouse kitchens.
MODERN FARMHOUSE KITCHENS
Love the mixed tones here. You have crisp white, dark and wood. This combination is a unique spin on traditional farmhouse. The antique brass details are amazing.
Here they stuck with a white kitchen, but the metal door, windows, dark beams and industrial lighting have a unique farmhouse look.
The lighting really makes this kitchen. I also love how they used a huge farmhouse table as the island.
This kitchen is similar to the one above with the open shelving and farmhouse table as kitchen island. The floors are dreamy!
This space is so open and bright. I love it. The lighting gives it a more modern feel.
San Francisco Cottages & Gardens
The dark subway tile, white floating shelves, simple vent hood and metal light fixture are a new spin on the traditional farmhouse kitchen.
Love this lighting and the wood ceiling!
I cannot say enough about this kitchen or the entire home. See the full home tour HERE. Each room is better than the next! It is a MUST SEE for sure!
The gray cabinets and trim are a nice alternative to white.
The light grey subway tile and chrome fixtures are beautiful in this space.
Architectural Digest Tom Brady & Giselle’s Los Angeles Home
Whitewashed plank ceiling, rustic wood door frame and light blue kitchen island….beautiful!
Here they used standard subway tile in a herringbone pattern and continued it with the reclaimed wood kitchen island.
