When you are building a home or remodeling there are so many decisions to make! You have probably thought of tile, paint, etc, but have you spent time thinking about your towel hooks?? Probably not. Things like that are 1 of thousands of things to pick out. It can get overwhelming. Here are the bathroom fixtures I used in our home. They are very budget friendly and we love them. Hopefully this will help you with your project!
I am all about the look for less and there are some places to splurge and some places to save. . . to me, bathroom fixtures is a great place to save. Towel hooks and toilet paper holders just need to be pretty enough and do their job. I am also all about function in this area. Think about how you live and what you need. Do you need a towel rod, a hook, etc. Which ones will your kids use better. Are they more likely to hang a towel on a hook or neatly on a towel bar. Also the layout of your space can help determine which makes the most sense.
TOILET PAPER HOLDERS:
When picking toilet paper holders I wanted ones that were very easy to restock since my family struggles in this area. Somehow MOM is the only one who ever replaces the TP!! The ones I chose look great, are super affordable and are very easy to use. Just lift a simple lever and slide on the replacement roll! I used this holder in chrome in both kids bath and our primary bathroom. In the guest bath I had to do a standing toilet paper holder because there was no room on the wall for one. The pool bath I used brass fixtures so I had to go with a different style because the other one didn’t come in a brass option.
BATH TOWEL OPTIONS:
We used towel hooks in the guest bath, Primary bath and Braden’s bath. I would have also used them in Avery’s bath, but she insisted on a towel bar. I really like towel hooks because they are easy. You don’t have to worry about folding your towel perfectly to look nice. Just hook it and go.
HAND TOWEL OPTIONS:
We used a ring towel holder in the guest bathroom in chrome, in the pool bath in brass, a hook in Braden’s bathroom because I knew he would actually use it and then standing towel holders in the primary bath and Avery’s room. The standing holders made the most sense with the layout of these bathrooms.
Hopefully you found some things you love and you can cross some decisions off your list!
