I am so excited with how our pool bath turned out! It is fun, colorful and so functional. Here are all the details.
A pool bath is a must in my opinion and I know it will get a lot of use as it gets warmer around here. We love to have people over to swim and hang out and having a bath that goes directly to the patio is such a nice feature so people don’t have to walk through your home dripping wet. If you are building or remodeling I highly suggest putting in a pool bath. This is a great space to do something fun and different. I wanted ours to be vintage inspired and colorful. The wallpaper we chose pulled it all together!
WALLPAPER:
I have been revealing the wallpaper we used in our home over the last couple weeks and today I have another amazing source for you! I searched all over the internet to find amazing wallpaper, but sometimes looking online is tricky. It is hard to see the exact colors, textures, etc. You can typically order samples, but that costs $ and you have to wait for it to arrive. I found the most incredible local store called Wallpapers Galore and it is one of my favorite places. It is the cutest store with tons of wallpaper for you to look at in person!!! They offer the most in stock options in North Texas that you can purchase that day and take home with you, but they also have a huge library of designer wallpaper books so you can see the collections and samples right there. I cannot tell you how helpful this is!! They have everything you can imagine from Thibaut, Schumacher, York, Rifle Paper Co, etc!
The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. They can help you sort through all the books and pull things to fit your needs. It is a great place to bring in fabric, swatches, inspo pics and sort everything out right there. You are also able to rent the books. Once you have picked out your selection, they will order it for you. I am so glad to have found this gem of a store! It was so helpful when working on our decor. They helped me find the perfect paper for our pool bath. I fell in love with Thibaut Anna French Antilles Collection. Every pattern is just stunning! I wanted a pop of green and the Julian pattern in Green was absolutely perfect! This wallpaper really pulled the entire pool bathroom together. I couldn’t love it more.
Wallpapers Galore also does fabric, shutters and window treatments. They helped me pick the perfect fabric to coordinate with this wallpaper. I am having custom pillows made with it, but unfortunately they are not ready yet. Here is the fabric. It is Anna French Saybrook Check in Green from the same design book. All of these designs come in multiple colors.
Here are some more inspo pics from the Thibaut Anna French Antilles Collection. You can purchase all of this at Wallpapers Galore. If you are local you can go see it in person. Stunning right??!! I want all of it!
I will be sharing my Guest Bath reveal later this week and Wallpapers Galore sells the wallpaper I used in that room as well! They truly have everything! Such a unique store. There really aren’t many places you can go see wallpaper in person anymore and this place is the best!
TILE:
I went with a classic vintage inspired black and white tile in this room. We used glossy white subway tile 1/3 of the way up the wall and added a black pencil liner with trim. Then we did a vintage pattern border on the floor with classic 1″ black and white matte hexagon tiles. The grout in here Mapei is Silver. Not only do I love the look, but it is very practical in a room that gets wet a lot. (You can ready about the rest of the tile in our home HERE).
SINK:
I had seen this trough sink previously and had to have it in our home. The pool bath was the perfect spot. It sticks with the vintage theme and just looks so cool. It is such a statement piece. We did the faucets in polished nickel. (You can read more about the plumbing fixtures in our home HERE)
HARDWARE:
We did white cabinets in this room in SW Alabaster. We are planning on having a flower pattern cut out on 2 of our cabinets, but still need to find a cabinet guy that can do our design. With that being said, I wanted to keep the knobs simple so we went with a wooden knob painted the same cabinet color. (You can read more about the hardware in our home HERE) I chose brass hardware for the TP holder and towel ring. We also added this fun Vacant lock so you can see from the patio if someone is in the bathroom. (You can read more about the bathroom fixtures in our home HERE)
DECOR:
To finish off the pool bath we added this best selling light fixture in Tumbled Brass, this swivel mirror and this vintage inspired rug. On the door that leads out to the patio I used my Ikea curtain hack that I shared in Instagram stories. I just added some velvet ribbon to them for added interest. I used this inexpensive rod that I spray painted gold leaf and these ring clips. I also hung this vintage pool art print in this frame.
Thanks for following along in our pool bath reveal. If you are local be sure to stop by Wallpapers Galore for all of your wallpaper needs! They are such a great resource!

I love following you and appreciate you sharing specifics. I can’t seem to find the door handle that sits below the vacant lock in your beautiful new pool bath. Can you help me?
