My baby heads off to Kindergarten in less than a month. I seriously cannot believe it. She is so ready and I am really excited for her and this next chapter. We have been busy around here getting ready for back-to-school and it has been so much fun!
This is sooooo me! I totally love school supplies. There are soooo many better ones now then when I was growing up. I seriously want a locker all over again so I can decorate it (hello locker chandeliers). I am also loving the Lisa Frank comeback. I was a huge LF fan! Anyway, the part that is less fun is that now you just buy a school supply pack. No more picking out all your favorite folders, etc. BOO. So instead we had a blast picking out Avery’s backpack and lunch box.
We headed on over to Pottery Barn Kids because they have the cutest kids stuff and she picked out this backpack/lunch box/water bottle set.

I went back and forth between the small and the large, but the large just seemed too big on her. Here she is wearing the small. Here is the Mackenzie Pink Pretty Butterfly Classic Lunch Box and I love that it hooks onto her backpack. Way less to carry! The 2 pictures below show them hooked together. I got both of them monogrammed, but did it locally. I didn’t like the Pottery Barn thread options. Didn’t seem like they would show up very bright. The water bottle we monogrammed through Pottery Barn Kids. Now that we had the basics picked out it was time to get some food storage items. I got a pink thermos to keep her food warm here and then I loved the Pottery Barn food storage container because it had 2 sections and a cold pack that snaps in the top. Perfect for sandwiches, fruit, etc. I also bought these thin ice packs to stick in her lunch box if it needs extra refrigeration. I found these cute water proof labels which were perfect for labeling all Avery’s items. There are soooo many cute designs you have to check them out.I think we have all the gear we need ready to go. Now it is time for some back to school shopping! Avery’s preschool had uniforms before so I am really excited to get her fun clothes to wear to school! These are some of the things I have already bought her:
Glitter Shoes/Plaid Dress/Metallic Boots
