We love having guests over so having a cozy guest room was very important to me. I had so much fun decorating this room and it is probably the room I get the most questions about…it also confirmed my love of wallpaper!
I dream of having a farmhouse one day and many of my rooms will have shiplap, but for now this is my most “farmhouse bedroom”…also one of my favorites. I designed it before Fixer Upper was a show, “shiplap” was an every day word and Waco was a destination (I used to drive through there quickly) 🙂 Warning…Lots of pictures ahead…(let me know if you have any questions)

The layout of this room is spaced funny so I had to put the bed in front of a window. Typically I would NEVER do that, but this room gets lots of natural light from the other window.
I refinished old drying stands for bedside tables and got the cutest glass knobs at Hobby Lobby. I turned an old fireplace mantle into a headboard. I did one in Avery’s room too. Click here to learn how to make a mantle headboard.
Thanks for stopping by the House of Hargrove B&B ;)….just kidding. I don’t cook. If you stayed I would treat you to a yummy brunch on the McKinney square…or I might make these. They are are amazing….and EASY!!
