Texas is closed…. It’s so beautiful here! We are getting real snow! Crunchy, big flake snow…not wet slush or ice! The kind perfect for ⛄️ and snowball fights! This is rare for us! It’s supposed to snow all day so we shall see! Kids were out 3 weeks for Christmas break, went back yesterday for one day & now out today and tomorrow!! This is the break the just keeps on giving! We are off to sled, make snow cones, watch movies, eat yummy food and soak it all in! Local friends have fun, stay warm & be safe! 🩵❄️☃️ Builder & Architect @josephpaulhomes

GIFT WRAPPING TIP.... 🎁 comment SHOP to have links sent directly to your DM Do you ever have a large awkward gift or basket and there is no bag or box to fit it?? The "basket gift wrap" that's on the market is always a clear cellophane. Most of the time you don't want the person to know what the gift is inside! I have found the perfect solution....plastic table cloths!! •huge...fit most gifts •aren't see through •inexpensive...most around $1 •super easy to use •cute I typically like to fold mine in half for extra coverage and then just gather at the top and finish off with a cute ribbon and a fun ornament or something to make it look more special. @walmart has some great affordable options! https://liketk.it/50nf8

I don't show this room super often & I'm not sure why because we spend a ton of time in here. It's our game room/bar/TV room. This time of year it's extra cozy and lots of entertaining/Christmas movie watching happens here! The TV wall is not shown but is behind this space with my horse collage wall. We were going for a Ralph Lauren Cape Cod feel in this space. This weekend was so much fun. Every year I go on the @abpa_hometour in Highland Park & the @downtownmckinney home tour. They are both so much fun & special in their own ways. I love looking at beautiful homes and getting to see tons of inspiration. This year as a special treat @caitlinwilson 's gorgeous home was on the tour! She hasn't even moved in yet and opened it up to share with all of us! I took y'all along in stories and shared them in a highlight bubble for reference. Love these holiday traditions and special time with friends!

She’s at an age where she loves picking out her own stuff so “Santa” got her several gift cards to places she loves. SUPPLIES: -I got the album and A patch @hobbylobby -the scrapbook paper is from Hobby Lobby and cute images I found online. Etsy has great downloads! Then I just made my sayings in PowerPoint. Easy, cute gift that’s personal and the recipient will LOVE!! I shared this idea in IG stories the other day and y’all loved it. I turned it into a reel so you can SAVE & SHARE with your friends! **this is also great bc it can be a last minute gift!! Avery and I had too much fun with this viral @homegoods trend. If you've been here for a while you might remember I used to do these all the time back in the day before it was a thing. BEST PUMPKIN PIE RECIPE...Pumpkin Chiffon Pie Want to bring/make the favorite dish this year for Thanksgiving?? Look no further! 🤎🥧 Comment PIE to have the recipe sent to your DM To be honest, I am not a huge traditional pumpkin pie fan.  However, this pumpkin pie my mom made growing up is my all time favorite.  It is pumpkin flavored, but very light.  It is absolutely delicious. If you are hosting this year or bringing a dessert, I highly recommend trying this Pumpkin Chiffon Pie!  It is sure to be a family & crowd favorite! This recipe will always remind me of my mom & she gave me the original hand written recipe card that I have framed in my butlers pantry. It's very special to me! Can't wait to make it with her this Thanksgiving!
